I. Dash cams typically support two power supply options:

1.Cigarette lighter adapter:

Advantages: Easy to install; simply plug it into the car’s cigarette lighter socket.

Limitations: The dashcam will not receive power when the car is turned off, so the parking monitoring feature cannot be used.

2.Hardwiring Kit(Fuse Box Wiring Kit ):

Advantages: Allows continuous recording even when the car is turned off, enabling 24/7 monitoring. Equipped with a dedicated chip that automatically cuts off power when the car battery voltage is low, protecting the battery.

Limitations: Requires manual installation and wiring to connect to the car’s fuse box.

II. Installation

A.Installation location of recorder host

Suggest the installation area as shown in the diagram, hide the connection line along the front windshield into the ceiling and connect it to the fuse box through the A-pillar;

B.Hardwiring Kit(Fuse Box Wiring Kit,Small Blade Fuse,Blue,Size 10.9mm x 16.3mm)

Paired with a dedicated intelligent step-down line, achieving 24-hour parking monitoring requires constant power connection, and low-voltage automatic power-off protection to prevent battery depletion;

C.Cigarette lighter adapter

Using the same method, hide a hidden line on the same path on the passenger side, and connect the central control cigarette lighter to power up through the lower part of the passenger storage compartment.
